Sponsor Spotlight: Neurodivergent Parenting Support Services (NDPSS)

Empowering 2e Families with Compassion, Expertise, and Lived Experience

We’re honored to shine this month’s Sponsor Spotlight on one of our generous Gold Level Sponsors: Neurodivergent Parenting Support Services (NDPSS). Founded and led by Renal Moodley, a licensed Occupational Therapist who is also a neurodivergent parenting consultant and executive function coach, NDPSS provides deeply personalized, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming support to families, children, and adults navigating complex developmental and learning profiles.

The Mission

At its core, NDPSS is on a mission to empower neurodivergent individuals and families by offering compassionate, evidence-based strategies that honor the authentic experience of each person. Whether helping a parent understand their child’s unique nervous system or working with a 2e teen to build executive function skills, the focus remains the same: empower, validate, and support.

A Blend of Professional Expertise and Lived Experience

What sets NDPSS apart is the powerful combination of clinical knowledge and lived insight. The founder, herself a parent to a twice-exceptional (2e/3e) child and part of a neurodiverse household, brings an unmatched level of empathy and understanding to her work. This perspective informs every service she offers, from parent coaching and executive function support to advocacy guidance and therapeutic consulting.

“Raising a 2e /3e child has taught me that empowerment comes from helping children understand themselves, respecting their unique wiring, and building confidence in a world that often misunderstands them.”

Supporting 2e Learners

NDPSS offers a range of services specifically beneficial to the twice-exceptional community, including:

  • Executive function coaching for adults and children

  • Parent coaching with a neurodiversity-affirming lens

  • Support navigating IEPs, 504 plans, and school collaboration

  • Therapeutic consulting tailored to sensory, cognitive, and emotional needs

  • Home and school-centered support for neurodivergent learners

  • Sibling support groups

Each plan is customized to the client’s strengths, sensory profile, emotional regulation patterns, and family context. Strategies are rooted in autonomy-supportive, collaborative practices designed to foster resilience and growth—not compliance.

Collaboration & Community

NDPSS values strong interdisciplinary collaboration, regularly partnering with psychologists, educators, speech-language pathologists, and other therapists to build wraparound support systems. The founder is also trained in Collaborative Problem Solving®, PDA-affirming approaches, and is completing certification in Ayres Sensory Integration.

What’s Next?

There’s a lot to be excited about at NDPSS! New and upcoming offerings include:

  • The Inside Out Lab: An executive function and SEL program for 2e learners

  • SibSpace: Support groups for siblings of neurodivergent children

  • Parent Regulation Programs: Designed to help caregivers reduce burnout and model co-regulation

  • Self-Paced Tools for teens and adults with ADHD, autism, and anxiety

A Word of Encouragement

When asked what advice she’d share with families raising 2e children, the founder offered this powerful reminder:

“You are the narrator of your child’s story until they can write it themselves. Choose language that builds love, resilience, and self-acceptance. Let your words plant seeds of belonging and brilliance.”
